The
organization was formed over 50 years ago by individuals interested in
providing sports opportunities for children. The program has grown from its
small beginnings to a full blown recreational program serving more than 4000
participants each year in the Gig Harbor / Key Peninsula areas. PAA provides
opportunities for children in K thru 12th grade .
Our Mission has always been that all children participate regardless
of skill level, experience or athletic ability. Participation is the key and we
require that all of our coaches adhere to this "spirit of participation". It is
very important to our program that children have the opportunity to grow ,
learn and come away from the season feeling positive about themselves an having
the desire to play again. The developmental stages of children and concern for
safety and positive self image are clearly reflected in our program.
Boys and Girls Club news… In the fall of 2009 PAA will
be moving into the new Hope Center in Gig Harbor. At
that time we will be partnering with the Boys and Girls
Club to provide outstanding programming and services
to the families of the Gig Harbor Peninsula. Please click
